Transparent ABS, also known as MABS, is a copolymer primarily composed of methyl methacrylate, acrylonitrile, butadiene, and styrene as the main raw materials. It adjusts the refractive index of ABS and rubber matrix to maintain consistency, providing excellent transparency to the material while retaining the processability, mechanical properties, and dimensional stability of ABS.

For medical-grade transparent ABS, it must meet the requirements of biocompatibility to be suitable for medical applications. Due to the need for frequent cleaning and disinfection, the material must possess good chemical resistance.
